About GUNDAM BREAKER 4 Builder and Power-Up Set
I went in knowing this was a niche title, and GUNDAM BREAKER 4 doesn't pretend otherwise. You're spending most of your time in the builder, slapping armor pieces, weapons, and thrusters onto your mobile suit, then testing those builds against waves of enemies. The customization is deep if you're into that sort of thing, part-swapping directly affects your stats and playstyle, so there's genuine build variety here. Co-op combat keeps things social, and the progression loop of breaking down defeated suits to harvest parts feels satisfying enough to loop on. The catch: if you're not already a Gundam fan or someone who loves this type of gear-crafting, the game doesn't do much to sell itself. The story is minimal, the single-player campaign is basically a tutorial, and the real meat is grinding co-op missions with friends to unlock better parts. The Builder and Power-Up Set bundles throw cosmetics and boosters at you upfront, but they don't fundamentally change the grind. It's a solid time-sink for the right audience, but a total snoozefest if mecha customization doesn't already have your attention.
