Golden Idol Mysteries: The Lemurian Vampire
Three compact murder puzzles that hand you a wall of blanks and trust you to fill them. Sharp, mean, and over before it can bore you.
GamerScout Verdict
Essential for anyone who finished the base game hungry; skip entirely if you have not played the original first.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Golden Idol Mysteries: The Lemurian Vampire
The moment it clicked for me was a name I'd written into the wrong blank three times, staring at a corpse and a list of words that suddenly rearranged themselves into a motive. That is the whole rhythm of this DLC: you scrub a static scene for scraps of text, drag nouns into sentence gaps, and slowly build a version of events that has to hold together completely or not at all. No hint button softens it, no timer rushes it. Just you, a controller or mouse, and three self-contained scenarios about an ancient civilisation, ritual violence, and people who lie badly under pressure. The art keeps its scratchy, ugly-beautiful character portraits, and the writing knows exactly how much lore to withhold. My complaint is scale: three scenarios go fast, and the Lemurian thread gestures at more mythology than it has room to pay off. If you have not played the base game, start there, because this assumes fluency in its logic. If you have, this is a strong, tight second helping that ends before it repeats itself, which I will always respect.
