Don't Die, Minerva!
A haunted-house roguelite that hides its actual game behind a brutal first hour of bad rolls, and only clicks once you stop treating dread as a health bar.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth a weekend if you want a tense, tightly-scoped roguelite loop, not if you need characters or build depth.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Don't Die, Minerva!
The first hour will convince you the game is cheating. Rooms spawn hostile with no warning, your loot rolls trend useless, and the dread meter climbs while you are still figuring out what it does. It does not gate progress so much as reframe it: dread is a resource you spend for stronger drops, not a punishment to avoid, and once that flips in your head the procedural mansion stops feeling arbitrary. Minerva's kit rewards commitment over caution, so the runs that pay off are the ones where you push a floor deeper than feels sensible. Permadeath keeps it honest, and the loot-driven loop has enough weapon and ability variance to justify a fourth or fifth attempt. What it does not have is depth past that. The writing is thin, Minerva herself never develops into a character worth quoting, and the room templates start repeating well before the loop stops being fun. Coming from anything with real build branching, this feels small. But it is short, sharp, controller-friendly, and honest about being one good idea executed cleanly. Go in for the tension, not the story.
