I went in skeptical about a game built around fetish content, but Dawn of Corruption does something thoughtful with its premise: the corruption mechanic isn't window dressing, it's the core decision tree. You're managing physical transformation against narrative consequence, tracking how your character's body and psyche shift as you make choices. The writing commits to the fantasy worldbuilding and character arcs rather than coasting on shock value alone. Combat and progression serve the transformation narrative instead of fighting it. That said, this is unmistakably a niche game for a specific audience. If the premise doesn't appeal to you, no amount of mechanical depth will change that. But for players interested in exploring taboo themes through RPG mechanics, the 94% user score suggests the community found real substance here. Expect a short indie experience, not a 100-hour epic.
