About Dagger of heroes
I picked up Dagger of Heroes expecting a scrappy indie action game with heart. What I found instead was an adventure so under-explained that I spent the first hour guessing whether I was supposed to be dodging, blocking, or just walking into enemies and hoping the best happened. The combat feels unresponsive, the story premise (evil forces, peaceful outskirts, resistance implied) never coalesces into actual narrative momentum, and there's no real sense of progression or character build variety to justify the repetition. If you're the type who loves discovering hidden gems in the indie RPG corner, this isn't it. There's no depth to sink into, no memorable NPC dialogue, no combat system worth mastering. It exists, technically, but not in a way that justifies your time.
