Chicken Wars

I booted Chicken Wars expecting nothing and got exactly that. It's a top-down shooter where you pick a chicken, grab a gun, and fight increasingly absurd enemy types across missions you can tackle solo or with friends online. Weapon variety exists - rifles, shotguns, that sort of thing - plus armor drops to keep you breathing a bit longer. The core loop is straightforward: aim, shoot, don't die. Here's the pitch: if you want a goofy co-op distraction with minimal expectations and you've got friends willing to join, it scratches that itch. But there's no depth here. No ranked ladder, no balance patches worth mentioning, no reason to grind beyond "I haven't played this yet." Netcode feels adequate for casual play, nothing stellar. It's the kind of game you load up for 20 minutes between rounds of something else, then forget about. Not broken, just extremely thin.
