I'll be blunt: I nearly flagged this listing as miscategorised the first time it crossed my queue. There is no gameplay here. Zero. This item is a PSN redemption code that lets you carry a physical PS4 disc copy of Modern Warfare III over to a PS5 digital licence, so you can run the PS5 version without inserting the disc every time. That is the entire transaction. No new maps, no operators, no weapon blueprints, no extra campaign missions. The Steam listing carries tags like 'No Gameplay Content' and 'PS5 Licence Transfer' for a reason, and yet it still sits on a storefront that is almost entirely used by PC players. If you are on PC right now reading this, close the tab. This product cannot help you. It redeems on PSN, not on Steam. The 42% positive Steam review score is almost entirely people venting about accidentally purchasing a utility voucher they did not understand, or PC players who had no use for it whatsoever. Who actually needs this thing? Exactly one type of person: someone who owns the MW3 PS4 disc, has upgraded to a PS5 (specifically a disc-capable model, because a disc-less PS5 cannot use it), and wants to access the PS5 version without keeping the disc in the tray. That is a real and narrow use case. If that describes you, the voucher does what it says. Activision confirmed that the physical PS4 Cross-Gen Edition unlocks a digital upgrade to the PS5 version, but critically, the disc is still required to play on PS5 without this voucher. So this removes that requirement. Everything else about this listing is noise. The store descriptions you may have read elsewhere were clearly copied from the base game page and have nothing to do with this SKU. Ignore them. There is no multiplayer to evaluate here, no TTK to measure, no ranked mode, no movement tech to praise or criticise. The Mixed Steam review score is not a reflection of MW3 as a shooter. It is a reflection of a confusing storefront placement for a very specific console utility.
