The store page promises chaotic bomb disposal with monkeys, and on that narrow promise it delivers exactly what it says. Three players, one bomb, and a cruel split of the senses: one monkey is blind, one is deaf, one is mute, so nobody ever holds the full picture. Reality matches the pitch when you have two friends on voice chat and everyone commits to the bit. It does not match when you try to play it solo or with strangers, because there is no meaningful single-player and no split-screen, so the couch tournament crowd is out. Online co-op and a controller are the only real way in. What works is the shouting. The puzzles are simple in isolation and hilarious once the timer forces you to invent a shared vocabulary at speed. What disappoints is the runway. Sessions are short, the bomb layouts start repeating faster than you would like, and once your group cracks the communication rhythm the tension drains. Treat it as a two-hour party night with a fixed trio, not a game you return to for months.
