Bleach Rebirth of Souls - Rebirth of Souls Costume Set

I'll be straight with you: this is a cosmetic DLC pack, not a game. If you landed here expecting a review of the full Bleach Rebirth of Souls experience, scroll down - the base game review covers the arena fighter itself, the rock-paper-scissors core of Attack, Breaker, and Guard, the Reishi gauge that acts as a shield around your character's Konpaku health, the Awakening system that flips mid-match momentum the way the anime actually does, and whether the PC port's rough edges are worth tolerating. This page is purely about five alternate outfits unlocked in your wardrobe when you activate this key.

What you get is straightforward. The Rebirth of Souls Costume Set adds game-specific redesigns for five characters: Renji Abarai gets a Shihakusho variant, while Kisuke Urahara, Gin Ichimaru, Shunsui Kyoraku, and Kenpachi Zaraki each receive a Captain's Robe styled to match the in-game aesthetic rather than borrowing from the Thousand-Year Blood War arc or any other separate DLC set. These are not alternate forms with modified movesets or Awakening animations. They are skins, full stop. Equip them in the character select screen, take them into any mode - story, versus, online PvP, split-screen - and that is the entirety of the proposition.

The question worth asking is whether the base game's cosmetic system gives these outfits enough visibility to matter. In a fighter where flashy Kikon finisher cutscenes and Awakening sequences are the visual highlight of any match, a costume swap is genuinely noticeable during those moments - the character model you dressed up is the one doing the cinematic. If you run Zaraki or Urahara as your primary characters and have logged serious hours in the story or online modes, seeing them in a fresh outfit during those scenes adds a small but real layer of personalisation. If you rotate through the full roster or barely touch those five fighters, the value shrinks to near zero.
