Compare Asterigos: Curse of The Stars prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Acme Gamestudio. Published by tinyBuild. Released on 10/11/2022. Available on PC. Genres: Action, Adventure, RPG.

A scrappy Greek-myth action RPG that swings for the fences with build variety but lands somewhere between Souls-lite and hack-and-slash, fun in bursts, rough around the edges.

I went in expecting another Souls-clone, and Asterigos surprised me by leaning harder into character customization than combat depth. You're working through the cursed city of Aphes with weapon switching between combat encounters (not mid-fight), and the real hook is building around different playstyles, heavy bruisers, spell-slinging hybrids, status-effect reliance. Combat feels floaty and forgiving compared to the games it apes, which makes boss design feel less punishing and more about pattern-learning than precise dodging. The mythological setting is pretty, but the pacing stumbles. Quest design is generic fetch-and-return stuff, and the narrative doesn't grip you the way it's trying to. If you want sub-20-hour action RPG comfort food and don't mind lower production values, this scratches that itch. Just don't expect the writing or mechanical polish that would make a second playthrough feel essential. Monika, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

A middling action RPG with genuine build variety but generic quests and floaty combat, best for completionists who love Greek mythology and don't mind rough edges.
