About Almighty: Kill Your Gods - Ancestor Edition
Third attempt at the same towering god, and my hammer-wielding avenger finally got the dodge timing right, only to die to a floor hazard I had ignored for twenty minutes. That is the rhythm here: co-op boss hunts, gear grinding between runs, and a lot of learning by dying. The Ancestor Edition takes that base and adds cosmetic ancestor-flavored trappings plus the soundtrack. It is a package for people who already bought into the loop, not an argument for joining it. Be honest with yourself about which one you are. The cosmetics do not change build math, weapon scaling, or how the online co-op sessions play, so nobody is getting a mechanical edge. The soundtrack is genuinely nice to have in a game where you replay encounters constantly, but it is still shelf-filler in the sense that it lives outside the game. New players should start standard, decide whether the grind holds past the first few gods, then upgrade if the answer is yes.
