AI Learns To Drive
A neural-network sandbox wearing a racing game's clothes. You don't drive here, you tune fitness functions and watch cars fail hilariously until they don't.
GamerScout Verdict
Not a racing game at all, but a fascinating AI sandbox for anyone who likes tuning systems more than driving them.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About AI Learns To Drive
The store page promises you'll train an AI to drive, and that part is completely honest. What it does not tell you is that your hands never touch the wheel. Every one of my sessions was spent tweaking mutation rates, sensor counts and fitness weights, then watching fifty little cars pile into a barrier before one of them finally figures out a corner. That loop is genuinely addictive, and the campaign challenges give it enough structure to stop it feeling like a tech demo. Workshop track sharing keeps it alive past the credits. Where it disappoints depends entirely on what you wanted. Come here for a racing game and you'll bounce off it in twenty minutes, because there's no controller input, no wheel support and nothing to play with a mate on the sofa. It's singleplayer and screen-watching by design. Come here curious about evolutionary algorithms and it's one of the clearest, most watchable explanations of the idea I've found, with the trial-and-error carnage doing the teaching.
