500 CP gets you a fraction of a Battle Pass in a game whose seasons have long since ended. Know exactly what you're buying before you click.

Let me be straight with you: this is not a game. It's 500 Call of Duty Points, the in-game currency for Modern Warfare (2019), and 500 CP is a small denomination in a store where meaningful purchases cost considerably more. The Battle Pass alone ran 1,000 CP per season, and individual Operator bundles and weapon blueprint packs in the store routinely sit at 2,400 CP or higher. So right out of the gate, understand that 500 CP is a top-up, not a complete purchase of anything significant on its own. What can you actually do with it? CP in Modern Warfare covers three main spending lanes: the seasonal Battle Pass, individual tier skips at 150 CP each, and store bundles that include Operator skins, weapon blueprints, calling cards, and emblems. The 500 CP pack lines up neatly as partial funding for a Battle Pass, or as enough to grab three tier skips if you were already close to a reward you wanted. It does not buy you any functional advantage. Infinity Ward made the right call keeping weapons and attachments earnable through gameplay, so every CP purchase here is cosmetic. If your priority is competitive performance, your loadout lives in the progression system, not the store. The catch in 2025 is the state of the game itself. Modern Warfare (2019) ran six full seasons, with the last one closing in late 2020. Active seasonal content has been over for years. The Battle Pass system those CP were designed to fund no longer rotates new seasons. What remains is the store, which still stocks bundles of Operator skins and weapon blueprints, so your 500 CP can still move there. However, the store inventory is static at this point and the playerbase has largely migrated to newer titles. If you are still actively running lobbies in MW19's multiplayer or Special Ops, this is a fine way to grab a cosmetic you have had your eye on. If you drifted away and are thinking of returning, check the current store inventory before committing CP to a game you may not load up again. One platform note worth flagging: these points are tied to the Xbox account used to redeem them. Per Activision's own policy, CP purchased on Xbox stay on that Xbox-linked Activision account. They are not transferable to PlayStation or PC. You also need to launch Modern Warfare and register the CP in-game before they appear in any other linked CoD title. It is a small admin step, but miss it and you will be filing a support ticket. Fred, Scout Team
