Frequently asked questions

What is the best Minecraft modpack for beginners?

For newcomers, performance-focused or lightly modded packs like Fabulously Optimized or a cozy/casual pack are easiest to run and learn. Big kitchen-sink packs (All the Mods) are fun but overwhelming and need more RAM.

How much RAM do modpacks need?

Light packs run on 2–4 GB, mid-size tech/magic packs want 4–6 GB, and large modern kitchen-sink packs (200+ mods) often need 8 GB or more. Use our Minecraft Server RAM Calculator to size a server.

Where do I download these modpacks?

Most are on CurseForge or Modrinth and install via the CurseForge/Modrinth/Prism launchers. We link to the official pack page for each recommendation.
