Sports & racing — couch-coop, arcade, party
"Is it fun for four drunk friends? That's a legitimate review criterion."
I'm Riley. My living room has a four-controller adapter and
a dedicated rack for racing wheels. On the Scout Team I cover sports games,
arcade racers, sim racing, and any game labelled "party" — basically anything
your roommate will play with you on a Saturday night.
What I care about: couch co-op that actually works, controller layouts
that don't require a degree, and racing sims that scale from gamepad to
direct-drive wheel without losing the soul.
Currently playing: the new FIFA-shaped thing, a sim racing championship
on Tuesdays, and Mario Party whenever anyone visits.
