XBlaze Lost: Memories
A visual novel set in the BlazBlue fighting game universe that doesn't require prior series knowledge, but assumes you're okay with walls of text and slow-burn mystery plotting.
Veredicto de GamerScout
For visual novel fans patient enough to read mystery plots without skipping dialogue; BlazBlue universe is window dressing.

XBlaze Lost: Memories is the sequel to Code: Embryo, a visual novel that exists in the BlazBlue universe but operates as its own story. You're following a protagonist with fractured memories trying to piece together what happened, reading through branching dialogue trees and making choices that steer the narrative. It's pure story-and-click stuff, no combat or real-time mechanics. The upside: if you like mystery plots and don't mind visual novels that take their time, there's enough lore here to keep you reading. The downside: it's dense, text-heavy, and the pacing assumes you're patient enough for long stretches between meaningful choices. This isn't for everyone. If you bounced off Steins;Gate or find yourself skipping dialogue in story-heavy games, Lost: Memories will feel glacial. But if you're the type who actually enjoys reading fiction in game form and doesn't mind that the BlazBlue connection is basically flavor text, there's a competent mystery-visual-novel here. Controller support and cloud saves are nice bonuses for a 2016 port.
