About Worms Ultimate Mayhem
I picked this up expecting classic Worms chaos in 3D, and the core loop is still there: take turns lobbing explosives at cartoon worms, watch physics unfold, laugh when somebody ragdolls off a cliff. The weapon customization angle is solid in theory, you can tinker with damage, spread, and behavior to match your playstyle, but the execution feels clunky. Movement and aiming feel sluggish compared to the 2D games, and the camera doesn't always cooperate when things get hectic. This is very much a budget-tier Worms spin-off, not a full reinvention. If you're starved for turn-based multiplayer wackiness and don't mind rough edges, the destructible terrain and customization offer enough tinkering to justify a session or two. Just don't expect polish or modern-day QoL. It's a niche game for Worms die-hards who've exhausted everything else.
