GamerScout Verdict
A couch-multiplayer classic that's aged well for split-screen chaos but lacks depth for solo players or online grinders.

About Worms Revolution
Worms Revolution is pure turn-based tactical theatre: you control a squad of worms, alternate fire with opponents, and solve the problem of "how do I push them into water" with uzis, grenades, and a holy hand grenade. The campaign teaches you the weapon roster across a handful of story missions, but the real meat is multiplayer - local splitscreen, online ranked, or custom skirmishes where you can tweak everything from wind speed to rope length. The physics feel consistent enough that experienced players can reliably chain shots, and the class system (Soldier, Scout, Heavy, Scientist) adds lightweight build variety without overwhelming the turn timer. What works: the core loop is satisfying, the presentation is charming, and map variety keeps rounds unpredictable. What doesn't: by 2024 standards the online population is microscopic, single-player content is thin, and there's no progression system to chase. This is a couch-gaming relic masquerading as an online title. If you've got friends to play with on the same PC or want a brain-off tactics game that respects your time (rounds end fast), it's worth the shelf space. Solo players should look elsewhere.
