GamerScout Verdict
Co-op lovers should grab it; solo adventurers should wait for a friend to be available first.

About Trine Enchanted Edition
Trine Enchanted Edition strips away the bloat of its predecessors and doubles down on what works: co-op puzzle design. You'll swap between the Knight (melee), Wizard (object manipulation via magic), and Thief (grappling hook) to crack environmental locks and navigate physics-based obstacles. The puzzles reward creative thinking, and online or local co-op makes the "aha" moments land harder when someone else figures it out first. Controller support is solid, and the hand-drawn art still holds up. The campaign is substantial without overstaying its welcome, though solo players lose half the appeal when you're swapping heroes manually instead of a friend handling the chaos. The story is thin fantasy window-dressing, and some late-game sections lean harder on precision platforming than puzzle-solving, which can feel jarring. If you've got people to play with, though, this is exactly the kind of session-friendly adventure that reminds you why couch co-op still matters.
