Everyone Moves With You

I've spent enough time with hard 2D action games to know when difficulty is masking shallow mechanics. Everyone Moves With You has the bones of something interesting - multiple weapon types, varied enemy patterns across different worlds, and the promise of regular content updates. The pixel art is clean, and the challenge is genuine. But here's the catch: the strategic layer feels thin once you get past the initial skill wall. Enemy placement and attack telegraphs are predictable after a few runs, and I'm not seeing the kind of build variety or decision-making that would justify 20+ hour runs for most players. If you're chasing a tight, mechanically demanding action game with no story fluff, this delivers that specific thing. Just don't expect the depth of a proper roguelike or the narrative hooks that justify grinding through repeated failures. Works fine as a niche challenge title, but it's not reinventing the genre.
