Acerca de DEATHLOOP Deluxe Pack (DLC)
I'll be straight with you: this is cosmetic-and-weapon DLC, not a new chapter, not a map pack, not a story expansion. What you're getting here is three unique firearms, two character skins for Colt and Julianna, and a pair of trinkets that slot into DEATHLOOP's existing gear system. That's the entire inventory, so whether this purchase makes sense depends almost entirely on how deep you already are in the base game. Some context on what you'd be dressing up. DEATHLOOP itself is a time-loop first-person shooter set on the island of Blackreef, where you play as Colt, an assassin trying to eliminate eight Visionary targets in a single day before the loop resets. The core loop, pardon the expression, involves gathering intel across the island's four districts across morning, noon, afternoon, and evening time windows, then assembling that information into a plan tight enough to pull off all eight kills in one run. Weapons and slabs, which are supernatural ability unlocks, get locked in permanently via a Residuum infusion system, so what you carry into each loop actually matters. Critics consistently praised this structure for encouraging experimentation without punishing cautious play. The three weapons in the Deluxe Pack, the Eat The Rich Tribunal, the .44 Karat Fourpounder, and the Chrome Demon MG-1 Pepper Mill, are cosmetically distinct variants rather than game-breaking additions to the arsenal. The two trinkets function as equippable buffs for your gear, fitting naturally into the infusion system. The Party Crasher skin for Colt and the Sharp Shooter skin for Julianna are purely visual, though DEATHLOOP's retro-futurist art style makes the cosmetics genuinely worth looking at. The base game was praised for vibrant visuals and strong character design, so new skins land in a world that earns them. The honest criticism here is one the base game already drew: once you understand the loop structure, the AI and stealth feel underpowered, and the late-game can feel repetitive no matter how many weapon variants you run. Adding three more guns to that situation patches nothing structural. If the mid-game slog of running the same districts started wearing thin, new pistol names will not fix that. For players who hit a rhythm and genuinely enjoyed experimenting with loadouts, though, the Pepper Mill and the Fourpounder give you fresh toys to route through the infusion system, which is a small but real reason to replay levels differently. Bottom line on the DLC itself: it is an accessory pack, priced and scoped accordingly. No new story, no new zones, no additional Visionaries. If you're still mid-playthrough and loving every loop, these weapons give you something new to infuse and experiment with. If you finished the game and walked away satisfied, the cosmetics alone probably do not pull you back.
