GamerScout Verdict
Silly 4-player co-op zombie blaster for fans of splatter over substance and slow-motion headshots.

About Zombie Army 4: Dead War
Zombie Army 4 is Rebellion doubling down on what made Sniper Elite's zombie spin-off fun: slow-motion skeleton-shattering and darkly comedic gore. You pick from a handful of classes, grab ridiculous weapons (flamethrowers, ray guns, Tesla cannons), and mow through shambling Nazis and occult abominations across a 1940s-themed campaign. The single-player grind is tolerable, but the game shines in 4-player co-op where the chaos and slapstick mutilation feel less exhausting and more intentional. It's not trying to scare you or make you think. The campaign is straightforward room-clearing with light progression, leaderboards keep competitive players engaged, and the killcam close-ups never get old. If you want a goofy co-op shooter where headshots spray CGI blood in HD slo-mo, this delivers. If you're hunting narrative depth or strategic gameplay, look elsewhere. The lack of Steam reviews suggests a modest player base, but that's mostly because the game doesn't pretend to be anything more than a B-movie romp.
