It's less about twitch skill and more about understanding what combinations actually work. The catch is that watching combat play out rather than directing it can feel passive. If you're the type who needs direct control or tight mechanical feedback, the hands-off approach might lose you after a few hours. But if you enjoyed games like Hades or Slay the Spire for their meta-progression and build variety over moment-to-moment action, Overrogue's automation angle is genuinely different.
