Data mining 8
A minimalist puzzle game where you sort corrupted from clean files to escape a closed loop, but the charm doesn't outlast the core mechanic's repetition.

About Data mining 8
I approached Data mining 8 expecting a clever commentary on digital housekeeping, but it's more straightforward: you're sorting files in a confined space, identifying corrupted ones to collect the clean batch and progress. The visual design is bright and stress-free, which works in its favour for casual play sessions. Mechanics are simple enough that anyone picks it up instantly. The problem is longevity. The sorting loop doesn't evolve meaningfully across levels, and the puzzle-solving depth flattens quickly once you grasp the pattern recognition required. It's a one-sitting experience at best, not something that builds toward late-game complexity or strategic depth. If you want a relaxing 30-minute palate cleanser between heavier games, it delivers. For anything longer, you'll feel the repetition drag. Diego, Scout Team
