I spent my first hour drowning colonists in CO2 and accidentally freezing others solid. Away Team is Klei's distilled take on environmental survival: you land on a hostile planet, build infrastructure, and keep your crew alive by manipulating physics. No base-building fluff, just thermodynamics, gas behavior, and resource chains. The UI respects your time; you'll grasp the core loop within 20 minutes. It's punishing but fair. Every death traces back to a decision: did you vent pressure too fast? Route water incorrectly? The multiplayer mode means you can share blame (or responsibility) with friends.
