Four fighters and two new arenas land in a season that split the Tekken community down the middle - character fans will be happy, balance hawks less so.

I'll be straight with you: reviewing a season pass in isolation is a bit like reviewing the toppings on a pizza without mentioning the dough is on fire. The Season 2 Character and Stage Pass bundles Anna Williams, Fahkumram, Armor King, and the new original fighter Miary Zo alongside two new battle stages - PAC-PIXELS and BAOBAB HORIZON - and that content is, on its own terms, genuinely interesting. Anna's return has been broadly welcomed by the community; the "Scarlet Lightning" brings her signature blend of fluid combos and a rocket launcher cameo that fits Tekken's gleefully over-the-top aesthetic. Fahkumram, the Muay Thai bruiser carried over from Tekken 7, also adds a hard-hitting, pressure-heavy style that rewards players who like to stay in their opponent's face. Armor King rounds out the returning roster with his grapple-heavy, intimidation-first playstyle, and Miary Zo slots in as the wild card - an original character who gives the pass some genuine novelty for longtime series fans. The two stages do different things. PAC-PIXELS is a Bandai Namco crossover arena with obvious nostalgia bait energy - bright, loud, and unapologetically gimmicky. BAOBAB HORIZON goes the other direction with a sweeping outdoor vista that leans into Tekken 8's Unreal Engine 5 visual muscle. Neither stage changes how you play, but both give ranked matches a different visual texture, which counts for something over hundreds of hours in training rooms and online queues. Here is the part that matters for the buying decision though. Season 2 launched alongside a major balance update that caused a wave of backlash across the competitive scene and Steam user reviews. The patch pushed an already aggressive game further into relentless offense, introducing more 50/50 mixup options and a controversial chip damage mechanic on throw breaks that even pro players called out loudly. Bandai Namco rolled back some of the worst offenses with follow-up patches fairly quickly, but the overall direction - faster, more chaotic mid-screen damage, less emphasis on the patient spacing and defensive reads that older Tekken fans prize - remains. If you were already on board with Tekken 8's aggressive design philosophy from Season 1, the pass makes your game appreciably bigger. If Season 1 already felt like too much, Season 2 doubles down rather than course-corrects. The pass also comes with a practical caveat worth noting: each character and both stages can be purchased individually, so if you only want Anna or only want Fahkumram, you are not forced to buy the full bundle. The 3-day early access perk for future drops in the season is the main differentiator for the bundle. For dedicated Tekken 8 regulars who play often enough to care about day-one access and want every new fighter available, the pass makes arithmetic sense. For casual or returning players still finding their footing in a game that has become more technically demanding and community-contested than ever, patience and selective individual purchases might be the smarter move. Veredicto de GamerScout

Worth it for active Tekken 8 regulars who want every new fighter day one; casual players should buy characters individually and assess the meta first.

Todas las tiendas de esta tabla nos dan el precio en euros, así que la cifra en EUR es el precio que fijó el vendedor, no un cálculo nuestro, y por eso EUR es también la moneda en la que calculamos el ranking.
