The real question for strategy players isn't whether this scratches the itch of Hearts of Iron or Total War; it's whether you want a focused, replayable tactical layer without campaign bloat. As a mid-scale entry in the Pacific D-Day collection, Okinawa assumes you're comfortable with unit stacking, supply lines, and terrain modifiers. Shared-screen and remote co-op support means you can bring someone along for the ride, which elevates it above pure solo sims.
