You play as two protagonists across separate routes, making decisions that reshape the plot rather than just lock you into predetermined outcomes. The writing respects player agency in ways most visual novels don't. The catch: it's a visual novel, so expect reading over gameplay. Pacing drags in places, and some character arcs feel underdeveloped compared to the anime's scope. If you're already invested in Psycho-Pass lore, this fills gaps. If you're new to the series, the relentless tone might feel like being lectured by a philosophy textbook for five hours. Solid for fans willing to sit still and think about whether surveillance states can ever be just.
