Dead by Daylight: Terror Expansion Pack (DLC)

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric multiplayer horror game where one player hunts and four survivors try to escape. This Terror Expansion Pack is a DLC bundle, not a standalone game, so it assumes you already own the base title. What it gives you is access to four killers pulled from separate paid chapters: The Hag (Of Flesh and Mud), The Doctor (Spark of Madness), The Clown (Curtain Call), and The Spirit (Shattered Bloodlines). Each comes with their own unique power, three teachable perks, and at least one survivor character from the original chapter releases. Each killer plays meaningfully differently. The Hag is a trap-layer who teleports to triggered snares, rewarding patient, map-aware players. The Doctor applies Madness stacks to survivors, causing hallucinations and interrupting healing actions, making him a strong counter to coordinated teams. The Clown lobs bottles that either slow survivors with gas or boost his own speed, giving him a chase toolkit that rewards prediction. The Spirit phases through the environment at high speed while her body stays in place, making her one of the hardest killers to read and one of the most skill-expressive in the entire roster. If you are new to Dead by Daylight and wondering whether to grab this bundle or buy chapters individually, the math usually favors bundles. All four of these killers have long track records in the community, their perks have found their way into popular builds, and The Spirit in particular has been a ranked staple for years. That said, if you already own two or three of these chapters, check which ones you are missing before purchasing, because there is no partial credit. The main limitation is exactly what you would expect from a DLC pack: nothing here expands the base game experience beyond killer options. No new maps are included, no new mechanics are introduced at the game level, and the content is locked to Xbox Series X and Xbox One platforms, so PC players need to look at the Steam version separately. Cross-platform multiplayer is supported, which at least means the matchmaking pool is shared. If you are building out a killer main roster and have avoided these chapters until now, this pack delivers four genuinely distinct playstyles in one purchase. Casual players who just want variety will get mileage here, and competitive players chasing ranked climbs will find The Spirit alone worth serious time investment.
