Dead by Daylight - All Things Wicked Chapter
Analog horror meets asymmetric PvP, The Unknown is the most unsettling killer Behaviour Interactive has shipped, and Sable Ward's Invocation mechanic finally gives survivors a meaningful risk-reward gamble.
Veredicto de GamerScout
Best for DbD regulars who rotate killers, The Unknown's Hallucination-teleport kit is the most mechanically layered original killer in years.

Acerca de Dead by Daylight - All Things Wicked Chapter
I've spent a lot of time in the fog, and very few chapters have made me double-take at a killer design the way All Things Wicked did. The Unknown is not a slasher in a mask or a licensed IP drop, it is a genuinely disquieting piece of analog-horror creature design, all wrong proportions and inhuman movement, built around a power kit that rewards spatial thinking over brute aggression. The chapter launched in March 2024 as Dead by Daylight's 31st content drop, and for a game that has been running for nearly a decade, the freshness here is notable. On the killer side, The Unknown's toolkit revolves around UVX, a chargeable bouncing projectile that creates a Blast Area on impact. Survivors caught in the blast become Weakened, which matters because Weakened survivors take longer to Dispel the Hallucinations that The Unknown scatters across the map. Failing to complete a Dispel triggers Killer Instinct, tipping off The Unknown to your position, and that's before factoring in the Teleport ability, which lets The Unknown snap to any active Hallucination and leave a temporary Decoy behind. The loop of seeding Hallucinations, forcing survivors to choose between ignoring them (risky) and dispelling them (also risky), creates genuine mind-game tension that most killers can't replicate. The Unknown's killer perks, Unbound, Unforeseen, and Undone, lean into disruption, with Unforeseen transferring the Terror Radius to a generator after a Break action and granting Undetectable for the duration, which is a strong combo for ambush-focused play. Survivor Sable Ward is the more polarizing half of the package. Her goth aesthetic lands well and her backstory is one of the richer original-character narratives the game has produced, tying into the existing lore around Mikaela Reed. Her perk kit, however, is very basement-dependent. Invocation: Weaving Spiders, her flagship ability, demands a full two minutes of casting in the basement in exchange for instantly pushing charges onto all generators, a powerful effect that leaves Sable injured and Broken for the rest of the match. Strength in Shadows lets her self-heal in the basement without a med-kit. Wicked guarantees a successful self-unhook from the basement and reveals the killer's aura afterward. As a solo-queue survivor you will rarely set up these perks cleanly, and the trade-offs are steep. Coordinated SWF groups will find Invocation genuinely strong; randoms will mostly ignore the basement and shelf the perks by midgame. The free addition for all players, Greenville Square, is legitimately one of the better maps Behaviour Interactive has shipped in years. It features an entirely new tile set and a main building called The Theater, with layers that reward exploration. The town-square aesthetic, complete with a cinema and an arcade embedded in the lore, is a step up from the visual monotony of some older realms. The map is not included in this DLC purchase, but it provides meaningful context for the chapter's world-building and gives you something new to learn regardless of whether you buy in. Who is this for? If you are an existing Dead by Daylight player who rotates killers regularly, The Unknown is worth learning, the Hallucination-UVX-Teleport combo has more mechanical depth than most of the roster, and the analog-horror visual design holds up well in extended play. Survivor mains buying purely for Sable should temper expectations on the perks unless they run coordinated groups. New players should buy the base game first and treat this as a chapter to revisit once the core loop clicks.
