Cardaclysm swaps the usual "play cards from hand" formula for something stranger: you're arranging cards on a grid, matching them to trigger effects and build combos. It's a roguelike, so runs are short and upgrades stack between attempts. The core loop works, there's real satisfaction in spotting a three-card synergy and watching it cascade, but the game feels unpolished. UI clarity suffers, difficulty spikes feel arbitrary, and the early grind can feel thin if your synergies don't click. Best for puzzle-heads who've exhausted Slay the Spire and want something mechanically different, not prettier. If you need a game that feels finished and hand-crafted, keep walking.
