Broken Sword Trilogy
A point-and-click adventure trilogy that defined 90s adventure gaming, witty, atmospheric, and heavy on puzzle-solving over action.
Veredicto de GamerScout
Essential for adventure game enthusiasts; a snapshot of why the genre mattered before it nearly died.

I've spent enough time with classic adventure games to know when a series earned its cult status, and Broken Sword did. This trilogy collects the first three games in Revolution Software's long-running detective saga, where you play as George Stobbart and Nico Collard unraveling conspiracies across Europe and beyond. Expect real dialogue writing, handcrafted pixel art backgrounds, and puzzles that actually make you think without resorting to obtuse moon-logic. The first two games especially hold up, deliberate pacing, clever humor, and cases that pull you in. Later entries shift tone and mechanics in ways some fans love and others resent, but the core adventure gaming is solid throughout. This is pure old-school adventure gaming: dialogue trees, inventory management, exploration, and the occasional dead-end if you miss a crucial item. It's not for players chasing action or modern QTE spectacle. But if you spent 1995 to 2005 loving these games or you're curious what made point-and-clicks tick before they faded, this trilogy deserves your time.
