The best parts of this pass are genuinely great; the worst parts are 30-minute side stories you'll forget before the credits roll. Know what you're buying.

I've spent enough time in Rocksteady's Gotham to know that the base game sets a high bar, and the Season Pass has an uneven relationship with that bar. What you're getting here is a grab-bag: story expansions, short character vignettes, Batmobile race tracks tied to different eras of Batman history, Crimefighter Challenge maps, and a sizable collection of character skins for Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman. That breadth is both the pass's selling point and its core weakness. The story content splits cleanly into two tiers. The Gotham City Stories episodes, which hand control to allies like Harley Quinn, Red Hood, Nightwing, and Robin, are narrative vignettes that run about 30 minutes each. They're polished, they look great, but they're so short that calling them "story expansions" feels generous. Batgirl: A Matter of Family is the best of this tier. It drops Barbara Gordon into a brand-new location built around her specific gadget set, and for fans who wanted more from her character, it delivers a tight, focused prequel that holds up. The weaker episodes feel like they exist purely to let you punch people as a different costumed figure for a little while. The Season of Infamy pack is where the pass earns its keep. Integrated directly into Gotham's open world rather than isolated in a menu, it adds four Most Wanted-style missions built around returning villains: Mr. Freeze, Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, and Ra's al Ghul. The Mr. Freeze mission in particular carries real emotional weight, and the Ra's al Ghul thread includes a meaningful story choice that's unusual for this series. These missions feel like proper Arkham content, not filler. If the rest of the pass matched this quality level, it would be an easy recommendation at any price. On the lighter side, the Legendary Batmobiles content lets you drive iconic cars from across Batman's history, including the Keaton-era Batmobile and the Nolan Tumbler, on themed race tracks matched to each vehicle's era. It's pure fan service, but it's executed with care and provides a nice break from the combat-heavy main content. The Crimefighter Challenge maps extend the already solid Arkham combat and stealth systems into standalone arenas with different character-specific play styles, which adds replay value if you enjoy chasing high scores. The honest read on the community sentiment is that the pass is best picked up at a discount. Several pieces of content genuinely extend the Arkham Knight experience in meaningful ways, but taken as a whole package, the shorter episodes drag the overall value down. If you're a Batman lore obsessive who wants every last epilogue and skin, this is your full Gotham toolkit. If you finished the main game and just want more of it, Season of Infamy alone might be all you actually need. Alex, Scout Team
