I don't usually review games where the mechanic is literally walking, but walk deserves the exception. It's a singleplayer experience that strips away quest markers, waypoints, and narrative hand-holding. You move through an environment, observe it, and decide what it means. If you've ever wanted a game that respects silence and observation over constant feedback, walk might justify the 2026 release window. It's a meditation packaged as a game, which isn't for everyone but is precisely what some people need.
