VELONE

I spent a few hours with VELONE expecting a zen automation experience, and what I found was a kernel of a good idea buried under friction. You're assembling mechanical constructs to solve logic puzzles on an alien planet, and when the moment clicks - when your contraption actually works as intended - there's genuine satisfaction. The pixel art is clean, and the concept rewards creative problem-solving. But the UI fights you at every turn. Building and programming your mechanisms feels laborious rather than intuitive, and the tutorial doesn't prepare you for the jump in difficulty. The 38% Steam score reflects a game with potential that needed another round of polish and accessibility work. It's for players patient enough to decode its systems, not for anyone seeking immediate gratification.
