The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct

I went in expecting a tense zombie survival experience tied to the show's universe. Instead, Survival Instinct delivers a by-the-numbers third-person action game that mistakes padding for depth. Movement feels sluggish, combat is repetitive, and missions blur together into a monotonous loop of scavenge-and-retreat gameplay that never builds momentum or tension. The Walking Dead license alone isn't enough to salvage a game that seems designed to check boxes rather than create memorable moments. If you're after atmospheric survival horror or genuinely engaging zombie action, there are better options available. This one feels like a missed opportunity.
