About Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter Redux
I went in expecting another Sherlock Holmes game and got something closer to a logic puzzle wrapped in a Victorian crime story. The Devil's Daughter Redux puts you in Holmes' coat and asks you to piece together evidence, interview witnesses, and draw conclusions without holding your hand. It's lean on combat, heavy on deduction. The pacing can drag if you're not into the methodical detective work, and some puzzle solutions feel obtuse rather than clever. But if you want a game that respects your ability to think instead of telegraphing every plot beat, this delivers that in spades.
