Compare Kung Fury: Street Rage prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Hello There Games. Published by Hello There Games. Released on 5/28/2015. Available on PC. Genres: Action, Adventure, Casual, Indie.

A low-budget beat-em-up tie-in that swings wildly between inspired and janky, banking entirely on Kung Fury's absurdist humor to carry shallow combat.

I went in hoping for a Streets of Rage-style brawler wrapped in the Kung Fury movie's over-the-top charm. What I got was a game that clearly understands the bit but struggles to execute it. Combat is simple and repetitive, mash buttons, dodge occasionally, watch the same few animations loop. The real draw is if you're already a fan of the IP; the game leans hard into that ridiculous 1980s neon aesthetic and doesn't take itself seriously for a second. The problem is that simplicity only works if the game respects your time or nails the spectacle. Street Rage does neither particularly well. Levels blur together, enemy variety is thin, and the novelty of the premise wears thin fast. It's the kind of game you boot up for 20 minutes, giggle at the absurdity, and shelve. Not recommended unless you're a Kung Fury completionist who accepts rough edges as part of the charm. Alex, Scout Team
