Ice Age 4: Continental Drift: Arctic Games

I went in expecting a straightforward cash-in on the Ice Age movie brand, and that's exactly what Arctic Games delivers. This is a collection of mini-games starring the franchise characters, with no narrative connective tissue or progression system to speak of. Each game lasts maybe two minutes before the novelty wears off. The core problem: these aren't mini-games refined for fun, they're concept sketches stretched to fill a product. Controls feel loose, objectives repeat with minor variations, and there's no reason to revisit any of them once you've seen the three-second animation loop. If you've got preschoolers glued to Ice Age media and want 20 minutes of distraction, this might buy you peace. Everyone else should skip it entirely.
