Dungeons 3 Evil Of The Caribbean

I approached Dungeons 3: Evil of the Caribbean expecting the same layer-cake complexity as the main series, but this Caribbean-flavored DLC campaign strips things back considerably. You're managing Thalya's forced vacation on a tropical island, building defenses against invaders and tourist attractions simultaneously. The core loop is familiar dungeon-building (place traps, spawn creatures, defend your core), but the pirate aesthetic and lighter tone feel disconnected from the darker tone of the base game. Co-op is supported online, which is where it shines if you're playing with friends willing to embrace the goofiness. The problem: it's not deep enough for serious strategy players, and not accessible enough for newcomers unfamiliar with Dungeons 3's systems. Solo campaign is brief, and the novelty wears thin once you've experimented with a few trap combinations. If you own Dungeons 3 and want a low-stakes tropical diversion, this delivers exactly that. Otherwise, your strategy time is better spent elsewhere.
