Cave Bad

I went in blind with Cave Bad, and honestly, that's the right way to play it. This is a stripped-down, deliberately lo-fi experience that doesn't pretend to be anything grander than what's on the tin. The core loop is simple and arcade-pure: navigate, survive, repeat. There's no bloat, no tutorial cutscene, no season pass roadmap. Just you and the cave, with whatever mechanics Eastasiasoft packed in. The catch is that Cave Bad's rough edges aren't always endearing. If you're hunting for buttery-smooth controls or a compelling narrative hook, you'll bounce fast. But if you're the type who remembers why arcade games were addictive (high scores, tight feedback loops, the pull of one-more-run), there's something here worth a curious glance. It's not trying to be a classic; it's just trying to be honest.
