Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered

I approached this remaster cautious, MW2's 2009 campaign is already legendary, and remakes often stumble trying to improve perfection. Instead, Infinity Ward kept the mission design intact while modernizing the engine, lighting, and character models. The result feels like revisiting an old favorite through clearer glass. You get the same setpiece-driven chaos (raiding an airport, riding a snowmobile, flying a harrier), same quirky characters, same pacing that makes it a weekend blitz rather than a slog. The gunplay feels responsive and current-gen smooth. Don't expect new story content or expanded missions. This is a visual refresh, not a reimagining. If you've already played the original to death, the new coat of paint might not justify another run. But for anyone who missed the original or wants to experience one of the franchise's best campaigns with modern polish, it's worth the time.
