British Horror Bundle

I went into this expecting Welsh gothic dread, and Maid of Sker partially delivers. It's a first-person hide-and-seek survival game set in a haunted 1898 hotel, all creeping tension and period detail. The soundscape does the heavy lifting here, a sparse, unsettling acoustic score makes you dread what's around each corner more than what actually appears. Don't Knock Twice leans harder into jump-scare predictability, though its domestic haunting setup has its moments. The bundle works best if you're okay with slow pacing and visual simplicity. Neither game will shock you if you've played Amnesia or Outlast, but there's a craftedness to Maid of Sker's design that suggests real care went into mood-building. Expect walking, listening, hiding, repeat. If that sounds tedious rather than meditative, skip it.
