Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead RFT

I approached Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead expecting a military sim, and that's exactly what I got - a game that treats combat like a physics problem, not a spectacle. You're given missions, a map, and tools, then left to figure out the approach yourself. The included content packs (Operation Arrowhead, British Armed Forces, Private Military Company) expand your options across different factions and equipment, which is nice if you're the type who wants to try the same mission four different ways. The catch is that Arma 2 controls like it's piloting a tank through molasses. Aiming takes practice. Suppression actually matters - soldiers panic under fire instead of being laser-accurate robots. If you're burned out on tight, responsive shooters and want a game that respects the chaos of real combat, there's something here. Just know you're signing up for a steep ramp and deliberate pacing that most modern players will bounce off within an hour.
