Acerca de WWE 2K18 - Enduring Icons Pack (DLC)
WWE 2K18 is a simulation-style wrestling game developed by Yuke's and published by 2K, built around replicating the pacing and spectacle of the live WWE broadcast. Matches are slower and more deliberate than the arcade brawlers of earlier generations, with a carry system that lets you hoist opponents into ring posts, throw them through tables in TLC matches, and chain hardware spots in a way that earlier 2K entries could not manage. Up to eight superstars can fill the ring at once, which sounds great on paper but tends to chug the frame rate noticeably, especially on PC where performance was a genuine pain point at launch. The reversal system and targeting remain frustrating for anyone trying to pick a specific opponent out of a scrum. The creation suite is where the game genuinely earns its keep. You get eight distinct fighting styles to assign to your MyPlayer, a deep superstar creator covering body shape, tattoos, face paint, and custom entrances, and the ability to import match highlights directly into entrance videos. Universe Mode now carries a power-ranking system and a goals structure that gives the otherwise freeform booking sandbox a bit more direction. Road to Glory - the online qualifier mode that replaced 2K Tonight - is an interesting idea that asks your MyPlayer to grind ranked online matches to progress toward pay-per-view events. The problem is that grinding it for attribute points is painfully slow, which pushes players toward the VC (Virtual Currency) system that feels bolted on from a different game entirely. MyCareer is the sore spot that most reviews and players agree on. You start in NXT, work promos through a dialogue-choice system that never gets genuinely interesting, and push toward the main roster. WWE Superstars lack voiced dialogue throughout, the promo writing is flat, and female MyPlayer careers are locked out entirely - a strange omission given the roster depth. Commentary from Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves gets more repetitive faster than it should, and some bugs at launch produced some genuinely absurd name-mangling from the announce team. The OpenCritic aggregate landed in the mid-60s range, which about matches the feeling of a product with a strong foundation and too many unpatched rough edges. For a newcomer to the series the controls have a real learning curve, but the basics - strike, grapple, Irish whip, reversal - are all learnable within a few matches. Single matches and casual multiplayer hold up reasonably well. The graphical overhaul brought noticeably better character models, improved hair physics, and arena lighting that does capture some of the spectacle of a live show. If you have WWE 2K17 and are largely happy with it, the year-over-year delta here is marginal. If you are coming in fresh and want the deepest licensed wrestling experience available on PC, this is functionally the only serious option.
