Werewolves Within is a streamlined take on the Mafia/Werewolf formula. You're either a villager hunting monsters or a werewolf hunting villagers, and the whole game hinges on convincing people you're telling the truth. Rounds are short and punchy, which keeps the pace tight even when someone won't stop talking. The catch: this works only if everyone at the table is actually invested in playing. If you've got one person phoning it in or a group that doesn't naturally banter, it collapses fast. Best played with friends who enjoy the accusation-and-defense rhythm without needing deep role complexity or mechanical depth. It's not trying to be the definitive werewolf experience, just a compact version that gets people voting and laughing quickly.
