Acerca de UglyDolls: An Imperfect Adventure
I went in expecting a straightforward 3D platformer for younger players, and that's technically what UglyDolls delivers. You jump through colorful levels, collect stuff, and hit the occasional puzzle. The IP is there - the dolls look like their movie counterparts, and there's a light story tying levels together. The problem is execution: platforming feels sluggish, cameras get stuck behind geometry, and level design doesn't really sing. It's not broken, just uninspired - the kind of licensed tie-in that exists to exist. Kids who are already deep into UglyDolls might squeeze some enjoyment from seeing their favorite characters in game form. Everyone else should skip it. There are better 3D platformers at every price point, and even for franchise fans, the experience is thin enough that it won't justify the time investment.
