The Samurai Edge - Chris Model is a customized Beretta 92F-style handgun bearing the S.T.A.R.S. logo and medallion, and it does have a concrete mechanical edge over the standard pistol Leon starts with. It offers improved accuracy and a smaller focus penalty when moving and aiming simultaneously, which in a game where every bullet counts and zombie pathing is unpredictable, is a genuinely useful trait. It is not a game-breaker, but it is a consistent quality-of-life bump across a full run, especially on higher difficulties where resource efficiency matters. Who is this for?
