Rayman Forever is a straightforward action platformer from 1999 that doubles down on what the series did best: tight controls and level design that demands precision timing. You're running, jumping, and wall-climbing through colorful worlds with nothing but reflexes between you and the exit. No gimmicks, no narrative, just platforming. The catch is that it's genuinely hard by modern standards. Enemies respawn aggressively, knockback will send you flying, and some jumps require pixel-perfect execution. If you grew up with 90s platformers or you're the type who treats difficulty as a feature, this is comfort food. If you want checkpoints every 30 seconds, look elsewhere. The GOG release is stable and DRM-free, which matters when you're chasing that last perfect run.
