OlliOlli World
Low barrier to entry, sky-high skill ceiling: Roll7's third skateboarding platformer is the rare arcade game that respects both the newcomer and the score-chaser without compromising either.
Veredicto de GamerScout
Best for arcade-minded players who want a stylish score-chaser with enough mechanical depth to stay interesting well past the credits.

Acerca de OlliOlli World
I came into OlliOlli World the way I approach most games outside my wheelhouse: I made a spreadsheet. Trick names on one axis, input directions on the other. Turns out I didn't need it for the first hour, and by the time I did need it, my thumbs had already figured it out. That's the design trick Roll7 pulled off here, and it's worth respecting. The core loop is 2.5D side-scrolling skateboarding where your character rolls forward automatically and nearly every meaningful decision runs through the left analog stick. Flick it before a jump, and you execute a flip trick. Hold it during a grind, and you stay locked to the rail. Pair that with lane-switching, wall rides, manual landings to extend combos, late tricks, and grind switches, and what looks like a casual cartoon game reveals itself as a layered score-attack system with a genuinely demanding ceiling. Failed landings no longer kill the run outright - Roll7 replaced that older punishment with a speed penalty and a broken combo - which does a lot to keep the pacing welcoming without gutting the stakes for players chasing leaderboard spots. Plentiful mid-level checkpoints mean restarts are fast, which matters when you're replaying a section for the fifth time trying to manual through a gap you keep bailing on. The world of Radlandia is built across distinct biomes, each introducing a new mechanic before the next one stacks on top. Wall riding arrives early, manuals come in the mid-game, and by the final worlds you are executing split-second stick rotations and button presses in near-constant chains just to meet the score thresholds on harder challenges. The pacing is mostly well-judged, though one genuine criticism holds: certain useful techniques - stair rides, specific bounces - show up in the tutorial queue later than they should, creating brief rough patches in the learning curve where you feel like you missed a memo. It's a minor frustration in an otherwise confident progression design. The art direction, inspired reportedly by Jet Set Radio and comic books, earns its cartoon style rather than just wearing it as a costume. The lo-fi soundtrack keeps sessions feeling relaxed even when the score-chasing gets tense. Character customization lets you shape body type, skin tone, hair, apparel, and even your trick set and poses, which adds a layer of personal investment that carries through the campaign. The story wrapping all of this - a quest for Gnarvana guided by skate gods - leans into irreverent humor that occasionally lands flat, but it never outstays its welcome. Leaderboard integration is baked in at the level select screen, and you can see rivals close to your skill tier, which turns score-chasing into something genuinely social without requiring a dedicated multiplayer mode. For anyone asking whether this is worth picking up cold with no OlliOlli history: yes, and arguably this is the best entry point. The approachability improvements are real, the skill ceiling hasn't moved an inch downward for veterans, and the level design rewards replaying early stages once you've banked the later mechanics. It's a compact, high-quality game that doesn't overstay its welcome. If arcade precision and rhythm-based flow states are even adjacent to your interests, there's a strong chance this sinks its hooks in fast.
